Camp Itinerary
Girona is known for cycling, but it has an incredible gravel scene that very few know of. We'll share it with you. Daily route selection happens every evening based on weather, fitness, and fatigue.THE WEEKPlan to arrive before noon on Sunday May 18th (if you have to show up earlier we can work around it). You will transport to our place, and settle in. We'll walk into the Old City to have an early dinner and pick up our bikes before 7pm.We ride Monday through Saturday, with a rest day in there somewhere. No matter what happens, we can guarantee that you will not be disappointed.RIDINGEvery day will have a bailout option for those who want to go shorter on the day. We ride a casual pace, often splitting into two groups. Our daily adventure lasts between 5 and 6 hours, including stops. Slower-paced groups will cover less distance in the allotted ride time — but it will still be epic![1] Volcà de la Crosa loop: 32-mile ride with 1500 ft of gain. (RWGPS)

Frequently asked Questions
WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE PRICE OF THE CAMP?
Accommodations, breakfast and dinner, a bike rental and cappuccinos before 11am. Our top priority is to make sure you Bike, Eat, Drink, and Sleep without a care in the world—only opening your wallet and lunchtime, when you want alcohol, or you choose an independent excursion.
IF I BOOK A CAMP, IS IT GUARANTEED TO RUN?
Most of our camps are guaranteed to run when 4 people (depending on the camp) are booked. An additional supplement may be required to run the camp if the minimum number of guests is not met. Please talk to your Camp Coordinator for more information.
ARE NON-RIDERS WELCOME AT THE CAMP?
Travelers with companions who prefer not to cycle should contact us to see if it’s possible to bring them along and if there are any available discounts. Independent folks are welcome to stay, dine, and explore the town while we focus on supporting the riders during daily rides.
HOW DO YOU ACCOMMODATE VARYING RIDING ABILITIES?
You are here becuase you love to ride. So do we! For some, that means stopping to savor the view, while others may want to test their limits. Our guide-to-guest ratio is never larger than 8:1. Every day you’ll be joined by at least one guide on the road. Our daily routes also include longer and shorter ride options. Dedicated cyclists almost always have the opportunity to go longer at the end of the day.If fitness is a concern, e-bikes provide an extra boost to your own pedal power, so you can ride longer distances, tackle tougher climbs, and maintain a faster pace in the company of family or friends who cycle at a different level. For completely custom routes that include everything you want and nothing you don’t, we recommend a Private camp. Contact the Camp Coordinator for more information.
HOW DO YOU ACCOMMODATE DIETARY RESTRICTIONS?
We do our best to meet your dietary needs and communicate your restrictions, allergies, and preferences for restaurant meals. We make sure that all meal opportunities give you personal choice. When booking a camp, we recommend discussing dietary restrictions with our Camp Coordinator to ensure your destination is a good fit based on local cuisine. Once you’ve booked your camp, we gather detailed information about your dietary preferences to alert your guides in advance.
WHAT IS A SINGLE SUPPLEMENT?
Our bike camps are priced based on double occupancy. A Single Supplement is an additional charge that secures a private room for solo travelers. If you are traveling alone and would prefer a particular roommate, please notify your Camp Coordinator. Although we cannot guarantee a match, we will make every effort to pair you with another solo traveler in order to waive the Single Supplement.
WHAT IF I HAVE TO CANCEL OR CHANGE MY CAMP?
Please refer to our cancellation policy for details.
SHOULD I PURCHASE TRAVEL PROTECTION?
A Travel Protection Plan protects your travel investment, your belongings, and most importantly, you. We always advise travelers to enroll in a Travel Protection Plan in case an unexpected event causes you to cancel or leave your camp. We recommend SportsCover Direct for travel insurance.
HOW SHOULD I TRAIN FOR THE CAMP?
Most camps require you to ride between 40 and 60 miles every day except for the rest day. This means a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 hours on the bike with cafe stops and lunch stops typically every 90 minutes. We recommend most athletes train for the 12 weeks leading up to their experience. If you need a training plan or support, contact the Camp Coordinator.
WHAT KIND OF SUPPORT CAN I EXPECT WHILE ON CAMP?
99.9% of you don't ride with a support van trailing behind you with hazard lights on. Good news, that won't happen at our camps either.Carry your food, fluids, and gear, just like you do at home. Our guide(s) can help you handles any mechanical issues, and there is always a bailout option if needed. When you’re on the bike, our guides are constantly looking out for your safety. Each route will have cafe or water stops where you can refill and refuel as needed.Your guides can even book you a massage appointment, and they handle the bill at restaurants. Your only job is to enjoy yourself.
ARE TRANSFERS PROVIDED AT THE START AND END OF THE CAMP?
On all Endurance Nation itineraries, you will find recommended times and locations for arrivals and departures. Endurance Nation provides group transfers to and from the camp from the pick-up and drop-off locations stated on the itinerary. In the event your train, flight, or other travel falls outside the arrival or departure times or locations, you may be responsible for extra costs incurred in arranging a separate transfer.
HOW CAN I ENSURE MY BIKE IS PROPERLY ADJUSTED FOR ME?
Every camp begins with a bike fitting so that adjustments can be made as needed to your bike. Bike fittings either happen on-site at our lodging or at a local store. If you have specific bike fit requirements, you may request a Bike Fit Form from the Camp Coordinator to input your exact measurements so we can pass along to our partners.
CAN I BRING MY OWN BIKE?
As fellow cycling enthusiasts, we understand the desire to ride your own bike. Given the travel issues (and liabilities), we strongly recommend you rent a bike for your adventure. If you prefer to use your bike on camp, you will be responsible for all shipping arrangements and maintenance. You will also be responsible for assembly and disassembly as needed, or Endurance Nation may provide a mechanic (based on availability) for a minimum fee of $200. Please contact the Camp Coordinator for more detailed information.
CAN I BRING MY OWN PEDALS AND/OR BIKE SEAT?
Yes! Personalize your rental bike with your pedals and saddle (just remember your own shoes). If you love data, bring that computer mount and all the requisite charging cables as well. Our bike partners will install both for you at the beginning of the camp.
ROAD, GRAVEL, OR E-BIKE: WHICH BIKE IS RIGHT FOR ME?
All camps are road or gravel-specific. Ideally, you are fit and capable enough to ride a regular bike during your experience, but should circumstances be out of your control, you can upgrade to an e-bike, which will allow you to stay with the group and experience the full camp terrain and geography without limits. This is an additional $250 (on top of the basic bike rental fee). If you are interested, please contact the Camp Coordinator for assistance with this and we will invoice you separately.
